Started in 2013, Nevis Animal Speak is a non-profit 501(c)(3).
We provide animal welfare information and education and worked with local schools, families and groups to share the most up to date information on small animal care. Utilizing locally and internationally born and trained therapy dogs in all our programs was just one of the many ways we helped to work with people to transition unmanaged pets to interactive companion animals.
Nevis Animal Speak works collaboratively with local animal welfare groups and schools including Ross University, Safe St. Kitts, BARC, and One Love Pets to further spay/neuter, TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) and adoption programs to help control overpopulation of unwanted cats and dogs on Nevis. Please visit our Spay/Neuter Project for more information.
In 2018 we received permission from the Nevis Island Administration and the Nevis Dept. of Agriculture to open Nevis' first ever dedicated small animal clinic called Paws for a Cause. The clinic in combination with our education programs serves as a holistic approach to small animal care on Nevis.
We welcome your input and support. Please let us know how we may help YOU and if you would like to donate your time to help our local animal welfare community.
We appreciate the support of our generous donors. From financial support to purchased and gently used dog and cat toys, leashes, collars, beds, travel bags and crates, flea and tick meds, dewormers and more...
Your continued support allows us to focus on the much-needed medical help, education and other projects we manage on the island of Nevis.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
