About Paws for a Cause @ Nevis Animal Speak:
March of 2019 NAS we opened our countries first ever private small animal clinic called Paws for a Cause. We are a non-profit/ charitable organization providing low cost medical care, spay/neuter, emergency medicine, animal welfare education programs, and so much more!
We operate solely as a non-profit, low-cost clinic and survive because of people like YOU donating their time and expertise. Population control, general health and the education of our clients are our highest priorities!
**What you need to provide:
- Current Lic. Information with at least 1 year post graduate experience for vets and
CVT/LVT/RVT or at least 5+ year OTJ experience for vet techs
- Solid working knowledge of general medicine and surgery
- Round trip airfare to the country of St. Kitts and Nevis
- 1 week or longer commitment

**What is provided: 4 1/2 day work week

What we NEED and very much appreciate:
· Medications- current or newly expiring/expired
· Flea/tick, deworming and heartworm meds (especially Nexgard, Bravecto and Heartguard)

We appreciate your time and want you to enjoy a work/life balance while visiting Nevis. We will schedule you (based on a 7 day week) for at least 1 day of surgery and 3 1/2 clinic days with hours of 8am-4pm Tues-Friday and 9am-2pm on Saturdays. On occasion we have an emergencies during off hours and would have you on call for such things.

Through our nonprofit organization Nevis Animal Speak, we provide best practices in small animal care medical care, free animal welfare education programs and general animal welfare information and support to our community and so much more!

Nevis a very special place famed for its charm and the easy-going genuineness of its people. A hidden gem but our small animals desperately need your help! We invite you to come and discover this remarkable island for yourself and help change the narrative of animal welfare for an entire country.
The ONLY dedicated small animal clinic in our country, we are committed to our mission that, "No dog or cat, homed or stray, will go without necessary medical care. All medical services are at or below cost, from our TNR programs to general health and and welfare.
